Cohort Update "Trust" -2022-
"History in the Making" (4/12/21)
- Trust -
Greetings to the class 2022 and to the Warrior Nation,
How important is Trust? It may be the most important trait or characteristic that a person can have in someone or with something. What happens when trust is compromised? It changes things very quickly; sometimes forever. How does trust and education coincide or work together? Trust is the foundation of all relationships. It doesn't matter if it is in the school setting, on the court/field, in the community or across the country. If there is trust in place great things can happen. Adversely, the lack of trust creates less than favorable situations and outcomes. We want each of you to get as much as you possibly can from Warren Central/WCC, but you have to trust the people in place and trust the process of being educated by the adults in your life. I rely on each of you to give me your best each and every day and you trust me, and the people who are here at WCHS, to do the same for you! Trust the process of being educated at the best high school around, trust the people who are here to serve and support you, and trust that you have the skillset to become something exceptional in this life we have been given. The world is waiting on your greatness, so turn up the heat and let's get to this finish line together! I can't wait....
Stop by the office and say hi...trust me, it will be worth it!!!
WC-Strong!
Much Love,

Hey there my beautiful Juniors! Let me tell you that Trust is everything in my book. If we can keep it "100" we can get through the good, the bad and the ugly together! This journey isn't always easy or smooth, but trusting the process of being educated is worth the journey. Here are a few things that YOU can do to help us help you...
- Get to class on time
- Be prepared to impress your teachers
- Keep that CORE on point at all times
- Be where you are supposed to be
Trust me, high school will be here and gone before you know it, but the things you learn and the connections that you can make will be with you for the rest of your lives so MAKE THEM COUNT!
You know I love y'all so slip in and get this hug and a bag of chips on your in person day!!!
Remember, If you have a new phone number, email address or new address where you live please get that information to me as soon as possible. If you have moved or your address has changed you must provide me with a new lease or mortgage and utility bill information.
Work permits are still being accepted. You can come by with your completed forms and I will look up all of your information to see if you will granted permission to be employed and earn some good money this semester. FYI...school work comes first!
You have 24 hours each day to make moves, use your time wisely!!!

The Trust we have to have class of 2022....
The theme of this week's newsletter is Trust, which is a critical part of getting you through school and to the next phase of your lives. As you make your way toward graduation, you place trust in the staff to guide you in the right direction. You trust your teachers to provide you with a quality education and prepare you for the next level. You trust your counselors to place you in the classes that will earn you your diploma and get a jump on the competition. And you trust your administration to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment for you and your peers to freely move about without worry.
It's equally important, that you trust yourselves and know that WCHS is just a building without each of you! In order for your teachers to be effective in providing you with a quality education, they are trusting you to show up ready for class and connect with the lessons. In order for your counselors keep you moving to graduation, we have to trust that you are giving your best effort and seeking help along the way if needed. And in order to keep our school a safe and friendly learning environment, we are trusting you to keep us informed when things are not going well or if you see or hear something that doesn't fit into our CORE values. We are in this together from now until...so let's work as a team to get all of you across that stage. Please trust all of us, that we are keeping each of you, as the focus of all that we do!
Please remember to reach out to Mr. Fletcher with questions about SAT/ACT, fee waivers, scholarships, college applications, and all things related to preparing to continue your education. gfletche@warren.k12.in.us
Don't forget that we love you...
Don't forget that we're proud of you...
Most importantly, don't forget to love and be proud of yourself!
We LOVE you 2022...

- College Board Virtual College Tours -
There are two events left this school year, so be sure and register asap. You will be able to chat directly with hundreds of college admissions reps and current college students. There will also be college planning sessions about important topics like financial aid, scholarships, and more. Don't miss the golden "FREE" opportunity.
- Taking A Closer Look At Finances -
- Build a budget and get a handle on debt (don't over spend what you can't pay off within 6 months on time).
- Be prepared for emergencies (always keep funds available for those "oh no" moments - industry recommendation is 6 months of living expenses).
- Save & invest for retirement: Start now, even if you start small. Beginning with $10 - $20 per week, in a dedicated savings account and leaving it alone, will grow handsomely into a nice lump sum of cash.
- Balance your long- and short-term goals (need vs wants).
- Avoid impulse buying and negotiate for sales prices.
