Rebel Review
October 24, 2026
Principal Message
South Families,
What an incredible month it has been at South High School! From the excitement of North-South Week and our fall athletic successes to the many activities and events taking place throughout our building, it has been great to see just how vibrant our school community is. The energy, school spirit, and pride our students have demonstrated are what make South such a special place.
As we move into the second quarter, our focus over the next several weeks will shift back toward academics, encouraging students to reflect on their first-quarter performance, set goals, and make the most of each day in the classroom. At the same time, we look forward to continuing some meaningful traditions, including our Veterans Day celebrations, as we approach the busy holiday season.
Every two weeks, I'll continue sharing The Rebel Review to keep you informed about important dates, upcoming events, and the many great things happening throughout our school. As always, thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we are off to a fantastic start, and I look forward to all that this school year has in store for our Rebel community. You can visit our website anytime for the latest news and information. And, of course, if you need direct assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the main office at 440-975-3648.
Go Rebels!
Sincerely,
Mr. Suttell
Principal

OHSAA Tournament Ticket Information
For all OHSAA events, Ticket prices are $10 for all adults. Students can purchase $5 tickets only at the gate or with the passcode “rebels”.
Tonight’s boy's soccer game, and our November 6 football game are OHSAA tournament events, which means regular season passes, staff passes and other complimentary passes are not accepted. Unfortunately, that includes our senior citizens, who must also pay the full admission price.
These rules apply to all of our upcoming postseason contests:
Boys Soccer: Saturday night 7pm at home
Volleyball: Tuesday 5pm at Boardman
Football: Friday, November 6 at home and hopefully 11/13 at home as well.
We know this may be different from what families and fans are used to during the regular season, and we appreciate your understanding. These are OHSAA tournament policies, not school-level decisions. This will all apply for all playoffs games home, away, and neutral.
Purchase tickets for tonight’s boys soccer game using the links below:
Student Tickets: Student tickets are available only on the day of the game. Students must click on “Have a passcode?”, use the code word rebels, and the $5 option will appear
