MS 50 is excited to host Repertorio Español again this year for a presentation of La Breve y Maravillosa Vida de Oscar Wao. This FREE showing is at the MS 50 Auditorium on June 17th at 6:30PM presented in Spanish with English supertitles. This performance is sponsored by The Office of New York City Council Member Jennifer Gutiérrez and the Cultural Immigrant Initiative.This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the New York City Council.

The 2024-25 MS 50 Literary Magazine is now published online! Check out the incredible pieces that our students worked on throughout this school year. The Lit Mag team designed and created the whole website from scratch, take some time to read our students' work!

We are proud to be the Magnet School for Debate and Youth Leadership! This federal grant helps us to ensure our students have access to all of the incredible programs and supports our students use every day. Regents exams start this week for our 8th Graders! Please see below for the schedule of exams. These are timed tests, please ensure that your students are on time for school and well rested!

Before the graduation ceremony we will play a slideshow of congratulations messages and photos for our graduates. If you have a message for your graduate, please complete the form below to be included! The slideshow will begin at 8:45AM on the morning of graduation.

Tutoring is available in English, Spanish, or Mandarin, Monday to Friday, 4-8pm, starting NOW! You can book a session at the link below up to 24 hours in advance. Booking a session is simple; click on this video link to see how to sign up. Once you've submitted the form, you will receive an email confirmation with the Google meeting link for the session. Please note: student DOE emails are not compatible for session scheduling.

All MS 50 students are eligible for a FREE internet hotspot through T-Mobile's Project 10Million. This provides 100GB of yearly data for 5 years in addition to low-cost laptops and tablets for your student.
