Our students put in great effort during our testing sessions last week, and I am proud of the focus they showed in demonstrating their academic growth. These winter scores provide a checkpoint for the goals students set with their advisors earlier this month. Please keep an eye on your mailbox, as we are mailing out official results shortly. We encourage you to review these reports with your student to celebrate their progress and discuss their targets for the spring.

This week in chapel, we celebrated Christmas with one another.

Our chapel committee worked very hard for this chapel and made a video of various students reading Luke 2 from grades 5–12. Reading the word of God together has been a focal point for our chapel experiences this year. It blessed us to see our students reading the Bible and celebrating the birth of Christ. We were so blessed by our chapel band, which sang three Christmas hymns for us. They have been doing an exceptional job this year.

Our Head of School, Mrs. Deb Larson, led us in communion. It has been a fantastic year for chapel so far. Please be praying for our community as we go into Christmas break with the intention to rest, be with our loved ones, and to come back in January excited to see what God has in store for MCA!

We are excited to share that our middle school students did a wonderful job during the Christmas Toy Drive! Middle school exceeded the 100 toy mark, and while we didn’t quite reach the 150-toy goal, their generosity still earned them two out of dress code days on Monday, December 15, and Tuesday, December 16.

We are so thankful for the generosity of our middle school families. Each toy donated makes a meaningful difference for children and families served through CROSS Ministries, and we are grateful for the way our students stepped up to bless others this Christmas season.
