Calling All Scientists!
It's time to put on your goggles and get curious. Introducing White Eagle Elementary's Science Fair! Whether students want to know why the sky is blue, which paper airplane flies farthest, or what happens when you mix just one more thing into the volcano, this is their chance to find out and show it off.
KEY DATES:
Thursday, October 29: Register Your Project
Thursday, November 12: The Science Fair at White Eagle Elementary (7:00-8:30PM)
Students are invited to explore a question they're curious about, run their own experiment, and share what they learn with our school community. All grade levels are welcome.
Need inspiration? The Science Fair Information Packet includes key dates, project ideas, guidelines and tips to get started. Sign-ups are coming soon, so keep an eye on your inbox. We can't wait to see what our Wolves cook up.
Calling All White Eagle Elementary School Artists!
The 2026–2027 National PTA Reflections Contest has kicked off! This year's theme is "What My Culture Means to Me."
Entries at the school level are due no later than Wednesday, OCT 14. Please continue to submit entries and we will update you with next steps later this week.
New to Reflections? Here's what it is!
Reflections is a free, national arts program run by PTA that's been around for more than 55 years. Every year, students across the country create an original piece of art inspired by one theme. It's a chance for kids to explore their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, build confidence, and be recognized for their creativity. Every student is welcome to participate, no art experience needed!
What can my child create?
Students can enter in one or more of these arts categories:
🎨 Visual Arts 📷 Photography 📝 Literature 🎵 Music Composition 🎬 Film Production 💃 Dance Choreography
Thinking about the theme
"What My Culture Means to Me" can mean so many things: family traditions, favorite foods, holidays, languages spoken at home, music, stories passed down from grandparents, or the things that make your family you. Encourage your child to think about what culture means to them and show it in their own way. The judges care most about how students interpret the theme, even more than technique!
Please think about your entires and drop off instructions and contacts will be updated soon.
