Irons Middle School Fine Arts Trip to Amarillo, TX

Los Solistas y Amigos Festival

The performing music groups from Irons Middle School will travel by bus Saturday morning to perform for a music festival at the Caprock High School in Amarillo, Texas. In addition to the music festival, we will be embracing our creative arts at Cadillac Ranch and eating lunch at the famous Big Texan, before returning to Lubbock that evening. Trip fee will cover travel, competition entry, lunch, as well as a trip t-shirt.

Fee: $50 per person

A $25 deposit was due Monday, March 25th. The remaining $25 will be due by Friday, April 11th.

There will be fundraising opportunities to assist in paying for this trip in the near future and again in the spring.

*Failure to make a payment by April 11th, 2025 will result in being dropped from the trip.*

Eligibility:

Students my have passed all classes on the 3rd 9 weeks report card. Students that did not, will have until the first progress report on April 17, 2025.

Items will be delivered mid-April. We will have a concert the night orders are ready to be picked up.

Both the Intermediate and Advanced bands earned a Sweepstakes trophy at their UIL Concert Evaluations! This means that all judges approved stage and sight reading performances as superior. Congratulations to our students for their hard work and dedication!

• $35 rental fee for students using a school issued instrument will pay an additional Fee.

Fundraising opportunities will give students a chance to pay down their fees.

CASH OR CHECK can be paid to the band office.
