Dear Longfellow Families,

We are well into September and the swing of things here at school. We took some time earlier this month to conduct our beginning of the year ELA and math assessments, and have met with teachers and grade level teams to plan instruction to meet the needs of all of our students. We are excited to see the progress and growth our students will make this year. Thank you for being a support and partner in your child's education. Monday- Superhero Day- wear your favorite superhero shirt

Tuesday- Dream of Kindness Day- wear your PJs

Wednesday- Green Out- Wear GREEN as a symbol of solidarity with the Sandy Hook Promise

Thursday- Team It Up Day- wear your gear to support your favorite team

Friday- Ranger and Rebels say Hello- Wear your Rangers gear today!

Beginning next week the cafeteria will sell snacks at lunchtime. Students can choose from chips, cookies, or fruit snacks. Please note that students will only be able to purchase snack if they have a positive balance on their lunch account. Past due balances must be paid before students can buy snack. Breakfast and lunch will continue to be offered everyday at no cost, even if there is a balance on your student's account.
