The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

"Time flies when you're having fun!" This statement certainly is true at MTES, especially during this season of the year. There are so many exciting things happening in the weeks leading up to Christmas Break. We have our 3rd grade concerts, Santa Parade, and grade level parties that will make this a very special time for the students and staff of Miami Trace Elementary School. Please take a moment to look through our upcoming events, as well as some helpful items for families.

Panther Care Pantry

Miami Trace cares about its Panthers! This is shown through the continuous support of our community partners, stakeholders, families, and volunteers. We are thrilled to announce that January 3, 2023, Miami Trace Local Schools will be offering a Panther Care Pantry in each school building. Pantry items available to students upon request and include personal hygiene products, clothing, and food. Although the pantry will not be officially "open" until January 3rd, we are happy to provide any item that a student may need between now and then.

Lost and Found!

The colder months at MTES bring about a large number of lost and found items. Students are encouraged on a daily basis to take their coats, hats, gloves, lunch boxes, and other items as they leave the playground and cafeteria. However, many of these items are left behind. We have a large collection, and will be looking to start fresh after the new year. We will be offering an afternoon for families to come and locate lost items. In the meantime, please encourage your children to check the stage each day for items. We are also asking that families write their child's name on any tags or lunch boxes to assist in getting items back to the owner.
