Respect, Pride, Integrity - The Rocket Way
Hello R-PEL Families!
We had another fantastic week, with students continuing to show great effort in their classrooms. It’s been great to see that strong momentum carry forward.
As we move into the next stretch, we’ll continue building on this progress and finishing the year strong. We know this time of year can feel especially busy with spring activities and schedules picking up and we appreciate your continued support in helping your child stay focused, organized and ready for school each day.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership!
If you have any questions or need help, please reach out to us.

RP Youth Sports
Rising Rockets Web Tutorial
Please see the video below from the high school athletic department introducing Rising Rockets, an initiative designed to provide a one-stop digital location for all things youth athletics, in Rocket City.
Our goal is to make it easier for families to find information about camps, clinics, youth leagues, and opportunities to get involved in Reeths-Puffer athletics. Through Rising Rockets, you’ll be able to explore offerings, connect with programs, and register your student-athlete all in one convenient place.
We’re excited to continue building strong connections with our future Rockets and hope this resource makes navigating youth athletics in our community even easier.

First Tee Golf Opportunities / Free for RP Students
First Tee: I talked with McKenna Ingles from First Tee. There are still a few spots open for the Middle School session at Stonegate (See attachment). This is free to R-P students. Also, the elementary session filled up but they were able to add a new session at Bent Pine (See attachment). This is also free to R-P students. These will fill up quickly so if you are interested then please sign up ASAP.
Greater Muskegon Junior Tour (GMJT): The GMJT is a great starting point for students who want to individually compete in tournaments. It is close to home and not very expensive (~$20-$25) per event. Local courses are available. If your student athlete enjoys golf and wants to start competing in events then here is the link with this summer's events: https://www.greatermuskegonjuniortour.com/

Capturing Kids' Hearts
Did you know that R-PEL is a two year in a row National Showcase School for CKH?
What is Capturing Kids' Hearts? CKH is a program for teachers that focuses on building strong, positive relationships between students and staff to foster a safe and supportive school environment.
You may have heard your kids talking about their Social Contract in their classroom, if not, ask them what that is!
May's Theme is Integrity!
What is Integrity?
Integrity is the ability and willingness to live with honesty and excellence. People who act with integrity make a choice to do the right thing, no matter who is watching. Integrity is the foundation on which we build relationships and trust.
