I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, relaxing and enjoying time with family and friends!

The next few weeks are busy, filled with holiday festivities. The 12 days of Christmas countdown begins on Thursday (see flyer below).

Next Tuesday, December 10th we will have our Christmas program. K-2 students need to be dropped off to their classroom by 5:45. Mrs. Bird's 5/6th grade choir students will need to be dropped off to her room at this time as well. 3rd and 4th grade students should report to their classrooms by 6:45. 5th and 6th grade band students will report to the band room at this time. At the conclusion of each program students will return back to their classrooms where parents may pick them up.

While these next few weeks are filled with fun, we are certainly still in learning mode. We will begin our middle of the year benchmark assessments next week. These assessments are important as they provide us with data that allows us to meet our students where they are performing academically. We would appreciate you discussing with your kiddos the importance of best effort on these tests. We want our assessments to have meaning and provide useful information to our teachers so they can create lessons relevant to student needs.

Boys and Girls Club is not in session on January 20th and March 10th. Please add these dates to your calendars as they will be here before we know it.
