Finish
"The secret to success is finishing! And not just finishing, but finishing strong."
We all know the excitement and thrill of starting a new project, a new habit, or a big new goal. But what separates the high achievers from the rest? It's not the initial spark—it's the follow-through.
Leaving projects 90% done is the fastest way to kill momentum and confidence. Finishing strong, however, builds massive competence and delivers the best results.
This week, let's stop analyzing the beginning and start mastering the end. You'll get the 3 actionable steps you can implement today to push past that final wall, deliver exceptional results, and celebrate major wins consistently.
Don't just start well—finish brilliantly.

Recap of the Week!
Recap of the Week!
Activities Banquet on December 7th
After careful consideration of all teams and coaches, the Fall Activities Banquet will be MOVED to December 7, at 6:00pm. The SRC Booster club will provide a sandwich meal and the four fall teams will present.
We understand changing the banquet this late can be an inconvenience to some, but we truly appreciate the communities flexibility and support as we navigate this new banquet style. We want all athletes and coaches to be done with the season, postseason awards to be out, and every fall sport to be together.
We thank you for your continued support and hope to see you at the fall seasonal banquet.
Thank you!

A letter went home with you FALL sport athlete. It is about a healthy snack station that we are going to utilize before they have practice. If you want your child to participate, we are asking you to pay $20/athlete. This will allow them one healthy snack before practice each day.
Check out the letter that was sent home with your athlete.
✨Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST)✨
Congratulations goes to our own Becky Schueth who has been named a State Finalist for this award!
This is the highest honors bestowed by the United States government specifically for K-12 science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and/or computer science teaching. Awards are given to science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and/or computer science teachers who have both deep content knowledge of the subjects they teach and the ability to motivate and enable students to be successful in those areas.
Mrs. Schueth is currently teaching high school mathematics here at SRC. This is her 11th year at S-RC and I teach Geometry, Technical Math, College Algebra, PreCalculus and Calculus. Becky has 20 years of experience in teaching and she began her career at Columbus High School. Mrs. Schueth Bachelor’s (2005) and Master’s (2009) degrees are from Wayne State College. She enjoys sharing her excitement for math with her students each day!
When you see her, please make sure you congratulate her on this incredible achievement! We are all proud and rooting for you!

Message for the Week:
Message from Mr. Tejkl
Finish Strong...
Good morning!
I hope your Sunday is off to a great start and your weekend was a great one! I also hope you created many memories over this Thanksgiving Break! It was a nice crisp one with a little of the white stuff coming as well! Now, it is back to action and let's finish this 1st semester strong!
The journey toward any meaningful achievement—whether it’s completing a rigorous course, launching a vital initiative, or mastering a new skill—is defined not by the enthusiasm of the start, but by the discipline of the finish. We must stop treating the final stages of a project as "let's just get it done." Instead, we must understand that: "The secret to success is finishing! And not just finishing, but finishing strong." This is a call to action to push past the comfort zone, to refine, polish, and dedicate that crucial last ten percent of effort that elevates your work from good to exceptional. The legacy of your effort is not in the ideas you generate, but in the power, clarity, and brilliance of what you successfully complete. It’s time to demand more from your final output.
This week, challenge yourself to embody the spirit of the true finisher. Don't let valuable time and energy be wasted by allowing projects to stall at the 90% mark. Instead, commit to implementing a personal Polishing Protocol for every task. For our students, this means actively cementing your knowledge and ensuring your grades reflect your full capability. For our staff, it means driving initiatives to a professional, impactful close. For our patrons, it means seeing personal goals through to undeniable fruition. Stop just starting strong; commit to finishing strong, and you commit to winning.
Have a great rest of your Sunday!
Quote of the week to reflect on:
"The secret to success is finishing. And not just finishing, but finishing strong."
Eric Thomas
Sincerely,
Tucker Tejkl
