Reading Challenge for the Holidays!

Arcadia Elementary's Holiday Reading Challenge 2020!
Are you ready to participate in the event of the upcoming holiday season? This year's theme is going to go along with the book, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" by Dr. Seuss. Each grade level or individual class will have specific requirements/goals established with their teacher. Students will keep a reading log and follow through with the goals that the teacher has established for them. Students are encouraged to participate in the District's myOn reading challenge simultaneously and those digital books can count towards this reading celebrations also. Students are encouraged to read print books and books from our digital libraries (Sora and myON). Some teachers may require students to take the online quizzes to show documentation of books read. There will be access to a digital reading log in Schoology.
The reading challenge begins on Monday, November 16th and will end on Monday, November 14th at 12 pm. The celebration will be on Wednesday, December 16th. Listen out for more details coming about specifics for both virtual and in-person students about the party/reward for students reaching their reading goal!!
