Trail Blazer Bulletin April 13-17

Dear Trail Blazer Community
Returning Student Registration is Open
Students must be fully registered by May 22, 2026 to receive their schedule on the first release date. Between April 1 – 7, parents and guardians should have received an email invitation to indicate enrollment intentions for the 2026-2027 school year. More info
Please complete the 2026-20267 returning student registration if your student will stay at Lebanon Trail, transfer to another FISD campus or not return at all next school year.
End-of-Year Chromebook Reminders
SENIORS
Seniors will return their Chromebooks in the library on May 14 and May 15. Students must return both the Chromebook and the correct charger. We cannot accept teacher cords or off-brand chargers; it must be a Dell brand 65W charger. Before returning the device, students should remove any personal stickers, but they should not remove FISD barcode labels or numbers. If a senior needs to purchase a replacement charger or if their Chromebook is damaged, they must contact Ms. Serna by May 11 so the fee ($20 for chargers) can be added to their account. Adding the fees and paying takes time, so don't wait!
When returning a Chromebook, students should only hand it directly to a staff member in the library who can issue a digital receipt. For seniors, any fees for missing equipment or damages must be paid by May 15 at 4:00 PM. If equipment is not returned or fees are not paid on time, graduation tickets may be withheld, and diplomas may be held until the account is cleared.
Seniors will also lose access to their FISD account, including HAC, Canvas, the student portal, and H Drive, shortly after graduation, though Google access will remain available until January 2027.
STUDENTS IN GRADES 9-11
Students in grades 9–11 should begin checking their Chromebooks now for issues such as missing keys, cracked screens, sound, camera, trackpad, power button, wireless connection, and charger. Any needed repairs should be reported in Incident IQ, and teachers can help students submit a ticket if needed.
Students who are returning to FISD next year should keep their Chromebook and charger, even if they are transferring to another FISD high school. However, families who are moving out of district must return the Chromebook and charger to the library by May 19, and they should be sure to hand it to a staff member who can issue a receipt. Families who decide to leave FISD over the summer will need to return Chromebooks and chargers to the administration building.

LT Baseball is surging toward its first playoff appearance since 2023. Following a dominant series sweep of Centennial High School, the Blazers have moved into prime position to clinch a postseason berth. The recent sweep was highlighted by a massive performance from Zack Goldberg, who went 5-for-6 with two doubles, a home run, and 8 RBIs. They close out the regular season against Heritage and Independence over the next two weeks, and could really use our Trail Blazer fans to pack the stands and get loud! We hope to see you there!
We are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our LTHS students at the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State Conference—marking our school’s first state-level competition appearance since 2023.

Reminders
Important Safety Advisory: Senior Water Gun Activity
We are reaching out to address a senior water gun war currently being planned among students. We want to emphasize that this activity is not affiliated with Lebanon Trail High School and poses significant risks to our school environment and the community.
Campus Policy & Safety Concerns
While often intended as a game, this activity carries serious implications:
Strict Campus Ban: To ensure a safe learning environment, students found in possession of water guns or look-alike weapons on campus will face immediate disciplinary consequences.
Many modern water guns and airsoft guns look strikingly similar to actual firearms. Additionally, law enforcement or community members may mistake these games for active-shooter situations, leading to dangerous confrontations or emergency police responses in public spaces and local businesses.
Parents: Please discuss the gravity of these risks and the potential disciplinary consequences with your students.
Students: We urge you to consider how your actions might be perceived by the public and the unnecessary danger this creates for yourselves and our community. Thank you for prioritizing the safety and security of the LTHS campus.
Final Week of School Schedule(May 20–22)
All Frisco ISD high schools will operate on a modified half-day schedule during the final three days of the school year.
Wednesday, May 20 – Friday, May 22
School hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
*More specific details will be shared as we get closer to the final weeks
EOY Vacation Scheduling
Every instructional day counts. Unlike in recent years, student grades and assessments will now be collected through the very last week of school. The final instructional day of the 2025-2026 school year is on May 22, 2026. We know that families often plan trips in advance, but please avoid scheduling family travel before that date, as absences can affect learning and final grades.
You can review the 2025-2026 academic calendar here. Thank you for helping your student finish the year strong!
Staff Shout Outs
We encourage you to use this form to nominate a teacher or staff member who you believe deserves special recognition for their contributions. I look forward to sharing your “Staff Shout Outs” with the LT staff.
