And just like that, it’s the last day of school!
What an incredible year it has been at Dighton Elementary School. We have celebrated so many accomplishments and created countless memories together. From expanding our ACE programs at the elementary level and introducing exciting new clubs like Drama Club and the DES Newspaper, to implementing ST Math across all grade levels, this year was filled with opportunities for students to learn, grow, and explore new interests.
We are especially proud that our students achieved an impressive 88% completion rate in ST Math this year. Throughout the school year, students participated in engaging learning experiences, field trips, special events, and activities that helped them discover what it truly means to be #WeAreDR.
The growth we have seen in our students—academically, socially, and emotionally—has been remarkable. We are grateful to our dedicated staff, supportive families, and amazing students who made this year so special.
To our fourth-grade students, we wish you all the best as you begin your middle school journey. We are so proud of all you have accomplished and know you will continue to soar. Remember, once an Eagle, always an Eagle!
To our returning students and families, we look forward to welcoming you back in the fall. Information regarding school supplies for next year can be found using the link below, and class lists will be available in August.
If you need anything over the summer, the DES office will be open or you can email Allison Hanson, AHanson@drregional.org. We are happy to assist you with registration questions, report card requests, or any other school-related needs.
