How do I apply for free & reduced meals?

Beginning this school year, the Free/Reduced Price Application meal deposits will go through Infinite Campus via the Parent Portal. See link for instructions below: Free/reduced meal application instructions

Note: The District is still in the process of transferring the accounts from PaySchools to Infinite Campus

How do I deposit money in my student's account?

You can add money to your student's lunch account and view the balance via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. See link for instructions below: Lunch deposit instructions

Where can I find out what's on the menu for the day?

The District uses an online menu program called My School Menus, which provides comprehensive information about our school meals, including nutrition content and allergy information. During the school year the link can be find on the Nutrition Services webpage.

ATTENDANCE ATTENDANCE

Welcome to a new school year! One of the most important factors in student success is simply being in school each day. Students who attend regularly build stronger academic skills, develop positive relationships, and feel more connected to their school community. Let’s work together to make attendance a priority from day one.

TRANSPORTATION SAFETY REMINDER TRANSPORTATION SAFETY REMINDER

Walking and biking help students start the day alert and ready to learn and fosters independence. Please help us ensure everyone's safety by watching for students walking and biking, keeping sidewalks and crosswalks clear, and if driving, following the school traffic procedures. A few things to remember:

  • Use extra caution when turning at intersections and driveways near schools. Students walking and biking may be less visible than vehicles.
  • Students biking on sidewalks must yield to pedestrians and give an audible signal before passing
  • Help keep students safe by slowing down

Parking permits for the 2026-27 school year will open at 9 am, Tuesday, August 11th for Seniors only and 9 am, Tuesday, August 18th for underclassmen.

LCSD is no longer utilizing the PaySchools platform, so the parking permit application has changed. Students will complete the parking permit application via Google Forms; once their information is verified, the $20 permit fee will be added to their Infinite Campus account, and a confirmation email will be sent out to the student's school email account. The fee must be paid before a parking permit will be issued. The bookroom will send out email communication no more than twice regarding confirmation; if your student does not pay the fee, it will go to the next student on the waitlist.

Please note the following:

  • The form will be emailed to Seniors and their primary contact at 9 am Tuesday, 8/11, and to 9th-11th grade at 9 am Tuesday, 8/18.
  • Since this is a Google form, student email accounts must be used for this application.
  • Any underclassmen that apply prior to 9 am on Tuesday, 8/18/26 will have their entry deleted; this form is restricted to allow only one response per student. All student information is verified.
  • The bookroom will be closed 8/10/26 through 8/12/26; applications will be reviewed and communication sent out on Thursday, 8/13 and Friday, 8/14. Please email LHSbookroom@lakewoodcityschools.org with any questions.

STUDENT DROP-OFF/PICK-UP (REPEATED ITEM) STUDENT DROP-OFF/PICK-UP (REPEATED ITEM)

To keep our students safe, be respectful of our neighbors, and move traffic efficiently, please follow these driving procedures:

Drop- Off Procedures:

  • Leave early, especially during inclement weather.
  • Students should enter the building before 7:50 a.m. We open doors at 7:15am.
  • Students being dropped off at school should be in the front of the building in the far-right lane of the Franklin drive-through.
  • There is NO drop-off in the south parking lot behind the building and the Rec parking lot.
  • Only students arriving in the school vans and walking are permitted to use the south side of Robinwood behind the school.
  • Students should never be dropped off on Robinwood or neighboring streets, and cars are not permitted to turn around in the residents’ driveways. Robinwood is a permit-only street which may result in traffic tickets for those not in compliance. This is also dangerous and not respectful of our neighbors’ property.
  • Students should exit the car as soon as you are beyond the crosswalk and walk to Door 32. This is extremely helpful in moving the line faster and will move you through the drop-off sooner.
  • Be prepared to unload quickly. The faster we exit the car, the faster we all move forward.
  • Please be patient. In general, it takes less than 30 seconds for cars to unload and begin to pull out of the lane.
  • Be kind and respectful to all of our drivers. We all want the same thing - to send our children to school safely and on time.

Pick Up Procedures:

  • All cars picking up students will line up in the front of the school in the Franklin drive-through.
  • Cars should not pick up by the gym doors or rec entrance.
  • Cars should not pick up in the back of the school on Robinwood or neighboring streets. In addition, cars are not permitted to turn around in the residents’ driveways. This is dangerous and not respectful of our neighbors’ property.
