Large green waste collection continues in Sunnyvale.

Collection of storm debris continues in Sunnyvale, utilizing both Republic Services and temporary assistance from DRC Emergency Services.

DRC is collecting large debris from damaged trees and other green waste. Property owners are not required to bundle these items but are asked to keep them separate from other bulk waste items. DRC will be using a large claw truck to collect large piles of limbs and stumps at the curb. Please ensure that debris is placed away from vehicles, mailboxes, fire hydrants, and water meters to avoid damage to those items during pickup operations.

Republic Services will collect small brush piles either at the curb or in the alley. As part of your regular trash service, you will need to follow Republic Services' bundle rule.

Citizens will need to separate fence pieces from tree debris piles, as the Mesquite Composting Landfill will not accept treated wood found in wood fencing. The wood fence pieces will need to be cut into four-foot sections for Republic Services to pick them up.

The Town of Sunnyvale will post updates as available on the Town website and on social media. If you have questions in the meantime, please contact the Town of Sunnyvale at 972-203-0325.
