Message from the Principal
Greetings PPA Caregivers, Families, and Friends,
We are steadily entering the final stretch of the 24-25 school year. I want to shout out the Class of 2025 and all of their accomplishments. Thank you for the many wonderful dissertation presentations, discussions about post-secondary plans, participation in the Savor the Senior Night, and graduation rehearsal. Your smile, energy, jokes, and hard work has made this school year a great success and wonderful place to be!!
With the last two weeks quickly approaching, any scholars that are graduating, transferring out of SPASD, or do not want to be responsible for their Chromebooks over the summer should turn them in to Ms. Patty or Ms. Kathy in the main office. This also includes chargers and hot spots.
Let’s finish strong scholars and families. Remind all scholars to get their artifacts and capstones completed.
Be well,
Ms. Sconiers

PPA Specific information to keep in mind:
As a reminder, students that are driving should review this information. It is important for our student drivers to continue to be safe for themselves and others in our parking lots and on the roads. Please note that students that do not park in the designated student parking session:
First offense- a verbal warning and ask to move their vehicle to the proper area
Second offense- parent communication
Ongoing offenses will be discussed with families and hopes of a resolution
Scholars should be prepared to learn everyday! Chromebooks should be with students daily. To reduce students transporting their wonderful Chromebooks they have the opportunity to leave the CB’s at PPA to be charged. Those that turned in Chromebooks will be able to pick them up from the main office. We will not issue a Chromebook to students if they have one or more already checked out to them. Please have your scholar return any damaged Chromebooks to the main office. We have a limited number of Chromebooks that students may use as loaners but that is on a first come basis.

Notes from Nurses Office
We are getting close to the end of the school year.
I will be going through the medication kept in the Nurse's Office.
Please pick up all your child’s remaining medications on the last day of school unless they are going to need these medications during summer school.
Medication can NOT be sent home with the student.
Medication that is NOT picked up by a parent or guardian will be disposed of at the end of the school year.
If you anticipate medication(s) will need to be administered at school next year, a new medication consent form will need to be completed. Please see the attached form.
For prescription medication your health care provider will need to either complete and sign the “Medication Administration Consent Form” or provide a copy of their own electronic school medication form , A parent/caregiver also needs to sign the form.
Please bring the labeled medication container and completed forms to the school health office at the start of the next school year.
