Summer Reading Celebration

Our Summer Reading Celebration was held during lunch on August 18th for students who participated in the school library's summer reading challenge. Students and staff alike got into the spirit of celebrating. Many thanks to Christily Rodriguez at Sky Cream Ice Cream for providing the treats and Sarah Bell from Greenville Federal Credit Union for sponsoring it, and last but not least, Ms. Herndon, our Community in Schools Coordinator, for helping organize the event!

A million thanks goes out to the following 4th and 5th grade students who've volunteered their time before school and during recess to help around the library with shelving and other library related tasks.

*Extra kudos to Mati, pictured above, who received Student of the Month for training many of the library volunteers (image by Ms. Wheeler).
