22-23 YEARBOOK COVER CONTEST:

Calling ALL 5th Graders,

We’d like your help in designing the front and back covers for the yearbook! Rogers does not have a specific theme this school year, so get those creative juices flowing and let your imagination run wild! Your artwork must be submitted on an 8 ½ by 11 inch unlined paper. Please do not use notebook paper. Use as many bright colors as you like to make your cover art really pop! Crayons, markers, sharpies, and colored pencils work really well. Please no pastels or paint. Your art work needs to cover the whole page. Write your first and last name on the back in pencil, along with your teacher’s name.

***Please turn in your yearbook cover design to your teacher by Friday, November 11th.***

***Please include somewhere on your page***

Mystery Readers!

Parents, we are so excited to announce that we will be continuing "Mystery Readers" this year! Mystery readers is a way for you to get more involved in your child's classroom. Each grade level has set aside time in their schedule to allow you the opportunity to come and read. You can read to your child's class in person or over zoom! This way you can still have the opportunity even if you are at work. If you would like to sign up, please click on the sign-up genius! This will be done during your child reading block, so if you have a child in Scott or Klags room, they will have their mystery reader time with their reading teacher (Mrs. Leslie/ Steen.) Please make sure to sign up next to your child's homeroom teacher's name!

Join The PTA

Joining the Rogers PTA is the best way you can financially support some extra special events and programs offered to the students throughout the year, including class parties, field day, house shirts, ninja run, diverse abilities day and staff appreciation just to name a few! Paying PTA membership dues helps support these things but does not mean you are required to volunteer. There are many opportunities to volunteer throughout the year if you are available, and as a member of the PTA you will be the first to hear about them. We hope you will join us as we support our students and teachers with an extraordinary 2022-23 school year!
