Timberwolf Weekly
WEEK OF OCTOBER 19th - 23rd
Dear LMS FamiLEE,
This Week at Lee ππΊ
Happy Monday, Timberwolves!
We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We are settling into the second nine weeks, and we are excited about the opportunities ahead for our students. The first nine weeks brought plenty of hard work, growth, and accomplishments, and we look forward to building on that success!
As always, thank you to our parents and families for your continued support and partnership. Working together makes a difference for our Timberwolves!
Pastries with the Principal β Tuesday! π₯πΊ
We are excited to kick off our first Pastries with the Principal celebration this Tuesday!
Formerly known as Pizza with the Principal, this special event recognizes students who have received a teacher shout-out on our weekly Timberwolf News for their hard work, positive attitudes, good character, and contributions to our school.
These students will enjoy a special treat as we take time to celebrate them and the positive IMPACT they are making at Lee Middle School!
We love recognizing our Timberwolves who go above and beyond, and we look forward to celebrating many more students throughout the school year!
Advisory Thursday β Reflecting & Setting Goals π―
This Thursday, our students will participate in advisory meetings focused on reflection, growth, and goal setting.
Students will revisit the goals they established during the first nine weeks, reflect on their progress, and identify areas where they can continue to improve. They will also establish new goals for the second nine weeks.
We encourage our families to have conversations at home about these goals. Ask your child what they are proud of from the first nine weeks and what they hope to accomplish during the second nine weeks.
Setting goals, monitoring progress, and celebrating growth are important parts of becoming successful learners!
Thank You, PTO, Watch D.O.G.S. & Lee Families! π
We want to give a huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTO for all they do to support Lee Middle School!
We especially appreciate our PTO volunteers and the parents who joined us last Friday for Popcorn, Pickles & Popsicles! Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to support our students and help make Fridays a little more fun!
We also want to give a special shout-out to our Watch D.O.G.S. dad who spent time with us on Friday! We appreciate his willingness to volunteer, support our students and staff, and be a positive presence in our school.
Our school is stronger because of the parents and community members who give their time and talents to support our Timberwolves. We truly have an AWESOME school community, and we appreciate all you do!
Let's Make It a Great Week! π
As we continue through the second nine weeks, we encourage our Timberwolves to come to school each day ready to learn, work hard, make good choices, and give their best effort.
Every day matters, and every day brings another opportunity to grow and succeed.
Thank you for being an important part of our FamiLEE and for all you do to support our students and staff!
Let's have an AWESOME week, Timberwolves! ππΊ
We are FULL LEE COMMITTED β Every Student. Every Day. π

Beliefs
We believe Lee Middle School is an integral part of our learning community.
We believe, as a learning community, we must continuously improve.
We believe, as leaders of learners, we must see students as volunteers in their learning.
We believe Lee Middle School, in partnership with the family and the community, must focus on providing challenging, interesting, and satisfying work for students.
We believe all faculty and staff are responsible for the success of each student.
AFFIDAVITS
As we work to keep our student records up to date, we want to share a friendly reminder regarding Affidavits of Residence. Parents, legal guardians, or lawful custodians are required to provide an Affidavit of Residence along with two documents verifying their current address.
Acceptable documents include property tax records, mortgage or security deed documents, a current lease or rent receipt, a current electricity bill or electricity application, or voter documentation showing the current address.
For your convenience, Notary Public services are available at all Coweta County schools during school hours to assist with completing your affidavit.
Already submitted one? No need to do it again! If you have already submitted a 2026β2027 Affidavit of Residence due to a change of address or new enrollment in the Coweta County School System, you do not need to submit another affidavit. If you're unsure whether we have one on file, simply give your child's school a call, and we will be happy to verify it for you.
If you still need to submit an affidavit, please provide the completed affidavit and two address verification documents to your child's school by Friday, December 18, 2026.
Thank you for helping us keep our records accurate and up to date. We appreciate your partnership and all that you do to support our schools and students!
