🦃 Welcome Back! ⛄
Welcome back! --
I hope each of you had a restful and joyful Thanksgiving Break, filled with moments to cherish. As we step into December, let’s embrace the warmth and excitement of this season while keeping our eyes on the finish line for the first semester.
I’m a Sagittarius! So, December is when I feel the most energized and excited. Some of the greatest experiences in my life have happened in December, and I just know this will be an incredible month for all of us here at Parker.
We have three weeks to make a meaningful impact, celebrate our progress, and continue building the foundation for a successful school year. Let’s work together to create an environment of joy, learning, and inspiration for our students and one another.
Thank you for your dedication, resilience, and care that truly make Parker Elementary a special place. Here’s to finishing strong, staying positive, and sharing the holiday cheer! 🫶

BE A HELPER!!🤝
It’s December! A brand-new month and the perfect time to start a new Character Education Theme. During Morning Announcements this month we will be talking about: How to be a good Citizen.
Our School Wide Theme is: Be a Helper
December is the perfect time to think about how we can be helpers in our school, homes and community. Did you know that being a good citizen means doing small things to make a big difference?
Week 1: This week use kind words and actions. A simple “please”, “thank you” or “how can I help?” can brighten someone’s day and make our school a happier place. Look for opportunities to use kind words with others and make a big difference in someone’s day.
Week 2: Find ways to be a helper. It could be by holding the door, helping a classmate, or even just sharing a smile. Look for opportunities where you can help brighten someone’s day.
Week 3: Let’s all continue to work together to make our school a caring and helpful community. Remember, small actions lead to big changes! Look for small opportunities to make a big difference in someone’s day.

Parker Angel Tree 🎄
Angel tree is a program run by YMCA to help provide gifts and support to families and children in need during the holiday season. The program typically involves community member selecting an "angel" from a tree set up at YMCA locations or other participating venues. Each angel represents a child or family in need, with specific gift requests or wishes attached.
Participants can choose an angel and then purchases the requested items or make a donation. These gifts are collected and distributed by the YMCA to ensure that they reach the families and children who need them most. The goal of Angel Tree is to spread holiday cheer and provide support to those who might otherwise go without during the festive season. it's a way for individuals and families to give back to their communities make positive impact on others' lives.
