Dear KMS Families,
Welcome back! We hope you had a restful and fun spring break, and we can't wait to see our students back in the building Monday, refreshed and ready to finish the school year strong.
State testing is coming up soon! We will be sending more detailed information next week, including dates and tips for helping your student be prepared and confident.
Also, our annual Spring Fling dance for 6th and 7th graders is coming up on April 4th! Mrs. Pruitt will be running the concession stand to raise money for the KMS Life Skills program. We’d love your help—whether it’s donating snacks or volunteering to help decorate or chaperone the dance, every bit of support helps make it a fun night for our kids!
Lastly, beginning Monday, Pokémon cards will no longer be allowed at Kodiak Middle School. While we understand their popularity, they have become a source of distraction and conflict among students. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a focused and respectful learning environment.
Let’s dive back in with positive vibes, big goals, and plenty of laughs along the way. We’re in the home stretch, KMS—let’s finish strong and make it awesome!
