SUSICK SCOOP
It's beginning to look a lot like...🎄

We have made it to December!!! This is a short month for school days, and it will zip by quickly. Please make sure you are following your child's teacher on Bloomz so you don't miss any reminders or announcements. Also remember to check the weather daily (we use AccuWeather), as students will go outside for recess, weather permitting. Make sure students are dressed appropriately for the weather!
As this year draws to a close and we prepare for a well-deserved break to spend with family and friends, know that I appreciate all that you do for your children and the Susick Community. What a wonderful place to be every day!!!!

PTO presents Susick Holiday Shop on December 8th - 10th
Students will have an opportunity to shop (in secret) for their families at the Holiday Shop w/ their classes on December 9th and 10th. Parent Preview Night is Monday, December 8th. Please come and take a look at what gifts will be available-bring your students with you if you like!
Gifts range from .25 cents to $5. Students should keep their money in a sealed baggy or envelope and bring a list of who they are shopping for. Please try to limit the list to 4 people or less, as it gets overwhelming for students to shop for too many people.

CELEBRATING JATIN BEDI
Jatin Bedi was a student at Susick that was tragically taken too young (at age 10 in 1985). Since Jatin's passing, Mr. Bedi donates funds to Susick every year in honor of his son. Those funds have been used to support all students at Susick including funding our SOAR Store, soccer goals for the playground (Jatin loved soccer), library books - many about soccer, grade-level field trips. benches, and other items/initiatives.
Each year we celebrate Jatin's life on his birthday, November 13th.This year, the Bedi's gifted each student received a free Susick T-shirt and provided an assembly presented by Reptarium. We are so grateful to Mr. Bedi for sharing his love for Jatin and Susick in such a meaningful way.
