REQUEST for Volunteers and Donations Class of 2026 Graduation Week Festivities

Senior Parents,

It’s hard to believe … graduation for the Monarch Class of 2026 is less than 3 weeks away! We have one more opportunity to participate in and support our Seniors high school journey before graduation and your help and contributions are very much needed.

The annual Senior BBQ is a Monarch tradition that is hosted by us – the Senior parents – for the entire Senior class and faculty. It will be held at Monarch on Friday, May 15th (11 am - 1 pm) after graduation rehearsal and the Senior Gauntlet.

We realize this is an incredibly busy time for everyone, but it is also a very special opportunity for our Seniors to enjoy one last gathering as a class before graduation. Seniors can hang out, listen to music, play some games and relax before the big ceremony Friday night.

We will be serving lunch to approximately 500 people and we are asking each of you to join in the festivities and consider donating your time, much needed food and supplies and/or cash contributions. Please go to the following link to view options for shifts to work at the event and needed food items and supplies 2026 Senior BBQ Sign Up Genius.

Food and supply donations CANNOT be delivered to the school until the morning of the BBQ as there is insufficient storage to accommodate early deliveries. Please bring your donation to the drop off site at Monarch’s front entry between 8:30 am and 9:30 am Friday, May 15th. There will be tables set up with volunteers available to take your donation.

Please send food items READY TO SERVE in disposable pans or Ziploc bags. If you must send food in a dish that you want back, make sure your name and phone number are on it. You may pick it up from the teacher’s lounge anytime after the event.

Monetary donations are critical for the success of the Senior Barbecue, and will be used to print a Senior Yard Sign for each student. These Yard Signs will be displayed on the MoHi campus for the parade and then given to the student. Please use the MOHI REVTRAK online payment system: Monetary Donations - 2026 End of Year Senior Donations to make a donation. If it’s more convenient, you can drop off monetary donations with the school Treasurer (Miranda Bellacosa) and note that it is a Class of 2026 End of Year Donation

Happy Graduation and many thanks in advance for your support of the Senior Festivities!!!
