What is Learn Platform? What is Learn Platform?

We’ve partnered with LearnPlatform, an EdTech effectiveness system, to provide visibility to you regarding the products in our district that are available and approved for use.

This tool comes with several features that Pasadena Unified School District will begin using, including the ability to have a more user-friendly library of resources. In the past, ITS, EdTech, and Academics would vet new online tools from a privacy and security standpoint and teaching and learning reviewing the instructional connection and then post those tools on a spreadsheet to be shared on our website.

As PUSD teachers and staff members, you will now be able to access this database from anywhere and identify the tools approved, pending approval, denied, as well as, see which ones are intended for elementary and secondary schools. As shared above, this library will allow you access to our curated district library, as well as explore the larger LearnCommunity library where you can search for new tools and view feedback from other educators. Lastly, in our district library, you will be able to find resources attached to these tools, such as PD videos or login information.

  2. If your app/website isn't approved, search the Library to see if there are any similar apps/websites that have already been approved.
  3. If the product you want to request is not already in your organization’s library you can click on SHOW RESULTS to view and request the product from the LearnCommunity Library.
  4. Once you find a product, you can hover over the product tile and click REQUEST to submit a product request.
  5. Once you click on REQUEST, you will be prompted to fill out a request form for your organization.
  6. The request process will go to multiple departments (your Site Principal/Department Head, ITS, EdTech, Academics, and other departments if applicable).
  7. Requestors can track the status of their requests by clicking on Products > My Library > Requested.
  8. If you still cannot find the app, at the bottom of the page select "Missing Product?" to request it manually. Enter the product name and URL, complete the remaining required information, and submit your request.
