DMS Delivers
June 21, 2024
Dear DMS Families,
We hope students and families have a restful and relaxing summer. Report Cards will be available by 2:00 p.m. this afternoon via Aspen Parent Portal. Please also see below for information on Summer Reading assignments, as well as other summer camps and events, including DRRHS soccer, theater, and basketball. You will also find information on the Youth Police Academy.
As summer moves forward, we will send any necessary updates regarding schedules for the Fall, etc. In addition, all DRRSD schools will send supply lists in the coming weeks.
We hope you all have a wonderful summer! Best of luck to our 8th grade students as they move on to high school, as well as any students who may be moving out of district. We will see everyone else in September!
Middle School/High School Summer Reading
It is hard to believe that it is that time of year to send out our Summer Reading List. Please be sure to check out the summer reading assignment for each grade level using the previous link. In addition, grade level supply lists will be sent home very soon!
Also, grade 8 families can find the DRRHS High School Summer Reading here.
DRRHS Theater Opportunity- Grades 7, 8 and 9
The DRRHS Theatre Company is excited to announce that open auditions will be held for their fall production of The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare. Auditions are open to any district students who will be in grades 7-12 during the 2024-25 school year. For information about this exciting opportunity, please email the director, Mrs. LaSalle, at elasalle@drregional.org.
Old Colony YMCA Family Resource Center
We have recently made a community connection with Community & Social Services | Old Colony YMCA. Their Family Resource Center is available to Dighton families and has much to offer in the form of support. Please feel free to check out all that they have to offer by using the previous links, or accessing their May Calendar.
Congratulations Grade 8! We Will Miss You!

Student Chromebook Repairs
In the event that a chromebook is damaged, lost or not working, please submit a Technology Helpdesk Ticket. Once the technicians have confirmation of the ticket, they will provide the student with a temporary device to be used while the damage is evaluated. If the damage is seemingly accidental damage, the chromebook will be repaired at no cost to the student. If you have any questions, please reach out to the DMS Main Office.
