Suicide Prevention Month

September is Suicide Prevention Month—a vital time to foster hope, open conversations around mental health, and ensure no one feels alone in their struggles. At the elementary school level, we recognize this month by promoting connection, empathy, and kindness to build a supportive community where every child feels seen and valued.

September 28th through October 2nd will be Connection and Kindness week. During announcements and in classrooms, we will be reminding students each day of what they can do to make a difference for others.

Please note: If you or someone you know needs support, please know that help is always available: you can reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline anytime by calling or texting 988.

Please send an extra change of clothes in your child's backpack. Include pants, shirts, socks, and underwear.

Volunteer Background Checks Volunteer Background Checks

If you are going to volunteer, have lunch, or attend field trips with your child, a volunteer background check must be completed and approved each year. They do not carry over from year to year.

Transportation, Pick up & Drop Off Transportation, Pick up & Drop Off

Transportation and Dismissal Reminders

Any transportation changes must be reported directly to a person in the front office by 1:45 p.m. To help make dismissal safe and predictable for everyone, transportation changes should be limited to those that are necessary and should not be a daily occurrence. Whenever possible, please maintain a consistent transportation schedule. This helps reduce confusion and stress for students when they know where they are going each day.

For the safety of all students, students may only ride the bus they are regularly assigned to in the morning or afternoon. Students will not be permitted to change buses or ride home with another student, as our buses are at capacity.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding during drop-off and dismissal. It takes a few extra minutes to safely get students to their cars, verify that they are leaving with the correct person, and keep traffic moving. Our priority is always the safety of every student, so we appreciate your patience as we work together to make arrival and dismissal as safe and efficient as possible.
