As the school bell rings to start our Easter break, we find ourselves at the very heart of the liturgical year. Today is Holy Thursday, the beginning of the Triduum—a single, three-day celebration that tells the greatest love story ever told.
While we all look forward to the chocolate eggs and family gatherings, these next three days are a critical time for our faith community. It is a time to pause, reflect, and walk alongside Jesus.
What are we celebrating?
In simple terms, the Triduum (meaning "Three Days") helps us remember the foundation of our faith:
Holy Thursday: We remember the Last Supper, where Jesus showed us how to serve others and gave us the gift of the Eucharist.
Good Friday: A solemn day where we remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. It is "good" because it shows the depth of God’s love for us.
Easter Sunday: The celebration of the Resurrection! Jesus is risen, bringing light and hope to the whole world.
Join Our Parish Family at OLPH
We warmly invite you to step away from the busyness of the week and join our broader community at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Parish. Celebrating these services together is a beautiful way for our students to see that the faith they learn about in the classroom lives and breathes in our church. See the list of services below.
Note to Parents: Even if you haven't been to Mass in a while, please know you are always welcome. There is no better time to "come home" than Easter.
We hope this break provides your family with a chance to rest, pray, and enjoy each other’s company. We look forward to seeing all our students back at school, filled with Easter joy, on Tuesday, April 7.
Wishing you a blessed and Holy Triduum,
Fiona Wimmer, Assistant Principal
Cathy Hinger, Principal

Food Bank Drive
We collected over $400 in online donations and a massive 363 items as a school! The food bank will do their own tally and let us know the weight when they pick up as well!
First Communion Congratulations
Congratulations to Lexi Morris and Alex Pagulayan who received their First Holy Communion on March 22. It was indeed an honor to see our students and their families engaged in their faith journey. We know that sometimes our students reach these milestones in other parish communities with extended family members. Feel free to share your photos with us for our bulletin board outside the office so that we can acknowledge these students as well.
LEARNERS & LEARNING
During this special time of Holy Week, Mrs Greene was able to gather the grade 3 class in the chapel and use the storytelling tool "Resurrection Eggs" to tell the events of the Triduum. Resurrection eggs are a hands-on Christian educational tool used to teach children the story of Easter, from Jesus' entry into Jerusalem to his resurrection.
