Dear RFISD Families and Staff,
As we close out April and head into the final month of the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredibly busy and rewarding time across our district.
This month, we had the opportunity to celebrate the Month of the Military Child, which holds special meaning in RFISD. From Purple Up Day to campus celebrations, it was great to see our community come together to recognize the strength of our military-connected students. They are a vital part of who we are, and we are proud to honor them.
We’ve also continued to see outstanding achievements from our students. From the classroom to competitions and extracurricular activities, their hard work and dedication are evident in all they do. I’m grateful to our teachers and staff who continue to support and challenge our students to reach their full potential.
As we move into May, we are entering one of the most meaningful times of the year. It’s a season filled with milestones—award ceremonies, performances, competitions, promotions, and graduation. These moments give us the opportunity to celebrate not only accomplishments, but also the growth our students have made throughout the year.
At the same time, we know this is a critical academic period. It's important that our students remain focused and confident. We encourage families to continue supporting their students by helping them stay balanced and well-rested as they finish strong.
Thank you for your continued partnership and for everything you do to support our schools. The finish line is in sight, and I’m excited to see all that our students will accomplish in these final weeks.
