STUDENT BACKPACK APPLICANTS - Student BackPacks are available to students currently enrolled in Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools.

• Limit of three (3) BackPacks per family
• Available only to 500 GJPS students.
• Please fill out the form to the best of your ability.
• BackPacks must be picked up on August 15, 2026 (1-2:30 pm).
• Location of the drive-through pick-up will be emailed to you.

If you are looking for some artsy opportunities for your students this summer, Mrs. Perkins from Blacklick Elementary is leading a summer art camp called “A World of Art To See!” through the district.

A World of Art to See: Each day, your student will go on a journey to a different part of the world and learn about how culture and the environment have influenced art styles and techniques. Students will explore many different skills using a variety of materials such as weaving with yarn, clay, painting, ink and more! By the end of the course your student will have gained lots of new knowledge about art from all around the world!

Grades: Current 1-5

Location: High Point Elementary

Dates: June 1-25, 2026 (Monday-Thursday)

Time: 8-10 a.m. for Grades 1-2

10 a.m.-noon for Grades 3-5

Course Fee: $150.00

*This course is a repeat of last year’s Arts Summer Camp, so please do not sign your student up if they attended last year.

Do you know a staff member who you feel makes a profound impact on students and Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools? If so, nominate them for the GJPS Heart and Pride award. This award is open to any staff member. regardless of position. Each month, the district will take the nominations to the Heart and Pride Committee, which is composed of community members and former staff members. The committee will select two winners a month that will be recognized by our Board of Education at the monthly meeting. If you have a staff member in mind, please complete THIS GOOGLE FORM. Nominations can take place all year.
