Dear Parents and Families,

As we enter the month of February, I encourage you to take some time to discuss with your children the importance of kindness, especially as we celebrate this month of friendship and love. Words matter, and it's essential for them to understand what it means to be a good friend and a supportive classmate. Our students have been working incredibly hard, and I encourage you to support their efforts by ensuring they read at home to continue making progress. I want to express how wonderful all the students are and how much I love seeing their smiling faces every day. It is truly a privilege to be their principal, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of their educational journey.

Dear Park Elementary Families,

I hope this message finds you well. In January, I had the pleasure of teaching lessons on Growth Mindset to students from PreK through 5th grade. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm for learning about resilience and positive self talk.

As we move into February, our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) focus will shift to the character trait of being Kind. I look forward to exploring this important topic with your children and helping them understand the value of kindness in their everyday interactions.

Please check out the following link for February's community resource Page and let me know if you have any questions.
