BULLDOGBULLETINJanuary 16, 2026

Dear Bulldog Families,

Happy New Year! These past few weeks have been busy and exciting as our students jump back into their academic routines and reconnect with classmates and staff. It has been wonderful to see the energy, focus, and enthusiasm throughout our building.

I am especially proud of our Student Leadership Club, who are encouraging all students to show their Bulldog Best behaviors in the hallways, during transitions, in the cafeteria, and in classrooms. Students can earn tallies for demonstrating these positive behaviors, and the entire school is working together toward an all-school celebration once our tally goal has been met. It has been so much fun to see our students step into leadership roles, support one another, and work collectively toward a shared goal.

A friendly reminder that Bingo Night is scheduled for January 29th. Families must register in advance in order to attend this fun community event. Please see the information below for additional details and registration instructions.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Bear Down, Go Bears!

Fondly,

Dr. Colleen Conway

Flu Season Information

Flu Season Information

As we continue into flu season, please see below for important reminders from the Health Office Team:

  • Please be sure to monitor your student for flu-like symptoms (e.g., persistent cough, sore throat, fever, body aches)

  • If your student is experiencing any exclusionary symptoms (such as a fever above 100.4, vomiting or diarrhea), please do not send them to school

  • During this time, preventative measures such as covering your cough, hand-washing, and others can prevent the spread of illness; please be sure to review these strategies with your child at home

For more information on the flu, families can access the Lake County Health Department resource HERE (Spanish version HERE).
