Muenster Elementary
Welcome to a New School Year
Welcome Back 2026 - 2027
Who is My Child's Teacher?
Welcome back letters from teachers were mailed Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Students should be receiving that information soon. If you have questions or have not received your welcome letter, please contact the elementary office or email Tyler Anderle, Elementary Principal (tyler.anderle@muensterisd.org).
Welcome Back Night
Welcome Back to School night for all MISD Pre-K to 12th grade students & parents will be Monday, Aug. 10th, from 6 to 7 PM. Elementary parents should expect to receive a teacher letter for their child by early August. JH/HS students can view their schedules on the parent portal. School Supply lists can be found at https://www.muensterisd.net/parents-students/school-supply-lists. The first day of class will be Wednesday, August 12th. We are looking forward to a great year! #GreatThingsatMISD
Student Dress Code
Please note: "PK-6th: all year; Shorts, skorts, skirts, and dresses must reach mid-thigh or longer allowing the student to stand, sit, or bend with modesty. The same applies if there is a slit in the front, back, or side of the garment."
School Transportation
If you would like Muenster ISD to transport your child by bus before or after school, please review the information and submit the form found at https://www.muensterisd.net/departments/transportation . All transportation forms & questions should be directed to Susie Fleitman at susie@muensterisd.org.
Car Line Drop-off & Pick-up Traffic
Car Line Drop-off & Pick-up Traffic Flow
I would like to remind parents to review the traffic flow and ask that you share it with anyone who may pick up your child in the car line. The beginning of the year often results in longer drop-off and pick-up lines. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. These are the things we do to help keep our students safe.
Student Meal Rates
Muenster ISD will be offering healthy meals every school day to all students at the regular rates. See the information on our website. To qualify for free or reduced meal rates, fill out the application. More information can be found at https://www.muensterisd.net/departments/student-nutrition.
