Hello Ranger Families:

Today we completed our first REID day at the high school. It was great to see students taking advantage of the extra time to connect with teachers and focus on their learning. Today, we had a 58% attendance rate for REID day and I am looking forward to partnering with all of you to increase that number in the weeks to come. In addition to participating in today’s learning opportunities, I sincerely hope that your student has found other ways to be involved. I would like to continue to encourage all of our students to join clubs, attend athletic events and partake in every opportunity the school has to offer. Enjoy the sunshine this weekend and:

He is part of a group with the Oregon Institute of Technology that provides connections between schools and industries for education. After he talks about what they do and ways to enter careers in technology, he will provide an opportunity for about 30 students to do a hands-on tour of the lab for about 30 students.

Classrooms are Cell Phone Free Zones Classrooms are Cell Phone Free Zones

zoom_out_map

Life is full of distractions that keep us from performing our best.

Our expectation is that classrooms are cell phone free zones.

The classroom is a space for learning and engagement in preparation for a student’s next step in life. Join us in fostering this commitment to learning by:

  • Talking with your student about their cell phone use in school.

  • Be prepared to set limits and to collaborate with school staff in making learning a priority.
