Eagle Express
Dear Arrowwood Families,
You will notice that this week's newsletter looks a little different than usual. It is truly difficult for our school community to see our building like this, and we deeply miss having our halls filled with the wonderful sounds of students and staff learning together.
As you know, our school is currently closed due to unexpected flooding. I want to reassure you that we are working around the clock with the team at ServePro to get our nest cleaned, safe, and ready to welcome our Eagles back home.
We know how much our students and families look forward to our planned activities, and we are already looking at the calendar to reschedule as many events as possible in the coming weeks. As this cleanup process unfolds, I promise to keep you updated every step of the way.
Event & Testing Updates
Spring Pictures: We have rescheduled pictures for April 28th. Any orders that were already placed will automatically carry over to the new date. If you would still like to order, the link is provided below.
5th Grade and MI-Access Testing: Fifth Grade M-STEP (Science and Social Studies) and MI-Access testing will resume once we return to instruction. I will share the newly confirmed dates with families as soon as we have them.
Book Fair: Once we reopen, the Book Fair will be available to students during building hours until April 24th.
Pending Reschedules: We are actively looking into new dates for Donuts with Grownups, the art museum field trips, and WPMS transition activities for our program students. We will share those updates as soon as possible.
During our closure, we want to make sure your children still feel connected to their learning. Students have full access to their classroom activities via Google Classroom, ALEKS, Boost, and their other usual learning programs.
Thank you so much for your incredible patience, flexibility, and unwavering support as we navigate this challenge together. We miss our Eagles dearly and cannot wait to have everyone back together soon.
