Gear Up for 2027: A Quick August Update from the Superintendent
Ahead of the Bell: Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year!
Dear Nauset Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!
It is hard to believe that we are just weeks away from welcoming our students and staff back and watching our schools and campuses come alive once again. There is something special about this time of year—the energy, excitement, and sense of possibility that comes with a new school year and a fresh start.
As I begin my second year as your Superintendent, I am incredibly excited about what lies ahead. We have so much to look forward to across Nauset, including the launch of our new strategic plan, a continued focus on strengthening teaching and learning with greater consistency across our schools and grade levels, new opportunities for our students, and the continued opening and development of our remarkable new Nauset Regional High School campus.
Another important priority for me this year is strengthening communication and engagement across our district and the four communities we serve. After my first year, it is clear that we have an opportunity to do a better job of keeping families and community members informed, connected, and engaged. We are committed to making meaningful improvements in this area and are investing in the people, tools, and practices needed to strengthen how we communicate and connect with our communities. You will see new approaches and expanded opportunities for communication and engagement throughout the year.
Most importantly, I want you to know how excited I am to begin another school year with you. It is a privilege to serve as your Superintendent, and I look forward to another year of listening, learning, growing, and working together on behalf of our students.
Welcome back, Nauset!
