Dear Families,

I wanted to let you know that Rachel has accepted a new position within ACSD, beginning after April vacation. We will miss her terribly as she has so quickly become the heartbeat of our days and a trusted, trustworthy presence within the WES community. It is indeed bittersweet to see her go, but the new position is truly a perfect opportunity for her. Our best wishes and love travel with her..

C30 transfer student update: We learned this week that Jack Honkinson will be joining Kindergarten next year.

Four Friends Exhibit at Jackson Gallery, April 3-May 9: Three of the dear friends of the Weybridge family - Sarah Flinn, Linda Smith and Leigh Harder, former WES 2/3 teacher.

Once again a reminder about planned absences:

• Please remember to communicate any planned absences to me ahead of time. If your child is going to be out more than two days, you also need to contact the Superintendent, Wendy Baker wbaker@acsdvt.org.

• Please also include the classroom teacher and Rachel in your emails to me regarding absences..

• For all absences, it is also helpful, even for partial days, if you indicate why your child will be out of school - medical appointment, sickness, family time, etc.

We have had some lengthy absences recently that came by surprise to us.

Lunch help: We are short volunteers this coming week Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Please sign up directly on the April lunch calendar if you are available for one of these days or for days in the future. Thanks so much.
