THE FRONT DOOR OF THE SCHOOL IS A NO DROP OFF ZONE
When students are dropped off in the morning before school, they must be dropped off in the parent pick up and drop off line on the side of the school on Robert St.
There are cones in the parking lot preventing front door drop off and signs will be up soon.
Parent's dropping students off in front of the school bypassing the drop off line has become an issue. We will have staff out in front of the building next week rerouting those dropping off at the front door to go to the drop off line. Thank you for your cooperation.
Read - At - Home Library
Reading Intervention is thrilled to launch a decodable “Read-At-Home Library!” Students will choose a good fit decodable book to bring home and read. Decodable books follow a phonics-based structure for teaching letter patterns in a sequence to introduce children to decoding slowly and methodically. Thank you to our local Mayer Baseball League and WMES PTO for making the Reading Intervention read-at-home library possible!

Here are some important tips & tricks to staying healthy!
Washing hands can keep you healthy and prevent the spread of respiratory and gastrointestinal infections. Germs can spread from person to person or from surfaces to people when you:
Touch your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Prepare or eat food and drinks with unwashed hands.
It is best to wash with SOAP & WATER
As a reminder it is ALWAYS head lice season. Please make sure to check your child’s head on a regular basis. See the Head Lice Fact Sheet here!

Reminder!!
Check-In/Check-Out System for Students & Visitors - Remember to bring your ID!
- We are phasing in having all families and visitors check in and check out at the kiosk in the vestibule outside the office doors.
- Please get in the habit of always having your ID with you when you come into the school.
- Thank you for all your help in making this transition a smooth process.
