Read Across America Week!
Our elementary students enjoyed celebrating Read Across America Week in a variety of ways, including guest readers from the secondary campus!
Annual Spring Fling!
Spring Fling was hosted by RMS & RHS. The secondary students had a blast participating themselves, but they also enjoyed hosting our 4th and 5th graders from RES. What a great way to kick off the start of spring break!

A Message from Dr. Holt
Dear RFISD Families and Staff,
As March winds down and spring settles in, I hope each of you had a chance to enjoy a restful and refreshing Spring Break. This time of year always brings a renewed energy to our schools, and I’m excited to see that momentum carry us through the final months of the school year.
We’re thrilled to celebrate the recent success of two of our outstanding RHS powerlifters, Peti and Destynee, who competed at the state level—a remarkable accomplishment that reflects their dedication, discipline, and strength both in and out of the weight room. Congratulations to the Destynee on her silver medal and to Peti on his gold medal. These students and their coaches certainly represented RFISD with pride and excellence!
Looking ahead, we are eagerly preparing for our district-wide community service project, which will take place during the school day on Friday, May 2nd. This will be a special opportunity for our students, staff, and parents to come together in service to others around the base and campuses, making a positive impact beyond the classroom. More details about the projects and how each campus will participate will be shared with you next week via ParentSquare. A permission slip will also be shared via ParentSquare, so please be on the lookout for that.
With Easter break just around the corner, I hope everyone can take some time to enjoy moments of rest and connection with loved ones. These short breaks are valuable as we approach the busiest stretch of the school year.
Speaking of which, STAAR testing will begin soon, with AP exams following shortly after. We know this season can feel intense for students, so I want to remind everyone that while doing your best is important, so is maintaining balance. Encourage your child to stay focused, ask for help when needed, and take care of their well-being along the way. Our teachers and staff are here to support them every step of the way.
Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership. Let’s finish the year strong—together.
Warmest Regards,
Brian Holt, EdD
Superintendent

Thank you to all of the students, parents, and teachers who post wonderful pictures that we often use in our district newsletters. We are also especially grateful to Grunt Peterson Studios for generously sharing their talent with us by photographing so many of our athletic events throughout the year and providing the Randolph community access to those pictures free of charge.
