R-PEL Parent Communication
10-4-26
R-PEL Families,
As part of our ongoing commitment to student and staff safety, R-PEL will be conducting a lockdown drill on Tuesday, October 6th. We work hard to make these drills age-appropriate while helping students understand and practice our safety procedures. Please take a few minutes to read the attached letter, (CLICK HERE) which provides additional information about the drill and how we prepare our students. Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping R-PEL safe!
This Your support and partnership make a difference!
Have a great week

Time Capsule Display at Central Elementary - Community Invitation
The Rocket City community gets to celebrate a connection fifty years in the making! In 1976, Mr. Davis’s sixth‑grade class at Central Elementary buried a time capsule. On October 7th, Rockets of the past and present gathered to inspire Rockets of the future as the time capsule was excavated and opened. The students and staff at Central Elementary are excited to share this piece of our community’s history with you and your families. The capsule contained wonderful artifacts including personalized letters, class lists, yearbooks, and other memorable items. As we’ve reviewed the contents, we’ve recognized many names connected to our RP community, and we’d love to invite Rocket City families of the past and present to experience this unique find. The artifacts will be on display in Central Elementary’s LMC through Friday, October 16th.

Rising Rockets Web Tutorial
Please see the video below from the high school athletic department introducing Rising Rockets, an initiative designed to provide a one-stop digital location for all things youth athletics, in Rocket City.
Our goal is to make it easier for families to find information about camps, clinics, youth leagues, and opportunities to get involved in Reeths-Puffer athletics. Through Rising Rockets, you’ll be able to explore offerings, connect with programs, and register your student-athlete all in one convenient place.
We’re excited to continue building strong connections with our future Rockets and hope this resource makes navigating youth athletics in our community even easier.
