Dia de los Muertos Festival

Dear Tiger Community,

I am excited to invite you to our upcoming Dia de los Muertos festival, taking place on Saturday, November 2, from 11 AM to 2 PM at El Paso High. This vibrant celebration honors and remembers our loved ones who have passed away, and it’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together in remembrance and joy.

The festival will feature a variety of activities for all ages, including:

  • Altar Displays: Students and families will create altars to honor their loved ones.
  • Traditional Music and Dance: Enjoy live performances showcasing the rich cultural heritage of this beautiful holiday.
  • Art and Craft Stations: Engage in fun, hands-on activities that highlight the symbols and traditions of Dia de los Muertos.
  • Delicious Food: Sample traditional foods and treats that reflect the culinary traditions associated with this celebration.

We hope you will join us in this meaningful event that fosters community spirit and cultural appreciation. It's a fantastic opportunity for students to learn about the significance of Dia de los Muertos and celebrate our diverse heritage together.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you there!

#TigerStrong

Warm regards,

Dr. Rocha
