Please have all 1st through 4th grade students bring their Chromebook back to school on the first day. Please know that as we begin the 26-27 SY we will no longer be sending Chromebooks home with the students. Chromebooks will remain in school during the year. The following will still be in place:

  • All students will only use their assigned Chromebook and QR Code.
  • Students will still be responsible for their Chromebook while using it at school and follow the rules outlined in the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Chromebook insurance will be available for students in Grades 2 through 4th grade at KES.
  • Chromebooks will also be in the Kindergarten and first grade rooms, however they tend to get much less use.
  • Each class is outfitted with a Chromebook cart where they will be charged daily.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Arrival and Dismissal Arrival and Dismissal

Dismissal instructions do not carry over year to year. Please notify via email any permanent dismissal changes to MAIN OFFICE, not teachers.

If a student has an assigned bus we dismiss them to the bus unless otherwise notified.

For instructions to make any changes to your child's daily pick up, click HERE. Please make all changes on the day of the change and by 12:00pm. If changes are made after 12 noon, please call the school and speak to someone. DO NOT leave a message.

For third and fourth grade parents who would like their child to walk home without an adult, please complete the waiver linked HERE. Special requests can be made for second grade students.

Dismissal Reminders Dismissal Reminders

Please be sure to read the arrival and dismissal procedures in the Back to School Letter on Genesis and also attached above.

Typically the first two weeks of school dismissal will run slower than normal. We are getting used to new faces and refamiliarizing ourselves with our returning KES friends. It is our first priority that all students are paired with the correct parent for dismissal, and all students are checked onto each bus.

PLEASE HAVE YOUR ID AVAILABLE for back walkers at Dismissal

Your patience is greatly appreciated! The safety of all our KES friends is our top priority.
