What an incredible week for the arts in VUSD! Students from across the district took the stage at the Moonlight Amphitheater, showcasing their talents in choir, dance, music, band, drumming, and theater. It was a wonderful celebration of the creativity and artistic spirit thriving in our schools.

A special shoutout to our Bobier Bronco Choir, Dance group, and 101 Dalmatians Theater Club for their outstanding performances on Tuesday night—you made us proud!

Thank you to our dedicated teachers—Melanie Steineke (Music), Alyssa Bonilla (Dance), Veronica Rotta (Kindergarten) and Jacob Silva (4th Grade)—for your passion and commitment in making these opportunities possible for our students.

We had another fantastic Friday Flag led by Ms. Ayers' first grade class who performed a dance routine.

🚲After announcing the results of our Jog-A-Thon fundraiser, our Principal and Vice Principal competed in a celebratory tricycle race. 😂

FitKids is offering free afterschool basketball at Bobier on Tuesdays. The program is every Tuesday from 2:20 PM to 4:15 PM.
Available for grades 1-5 (groups of 1-2 and 3-5)

Our 1st grade class received a 911 Safety Presentation from the Fire Department.

Many parents ask how to help their children become stronger readers. One of the easiest and most powerful things you can do is have your child read aloud.

• Reading aloud helps memory and reading skills because children both see and hear the words.

• Just 20 minutes of reading aloud each day can make a big difference in fluency, vocabulary, and understanding.

• Even older elementary students who usually read silently can gain from reading aloud sometimes.

Try making a short daily routine: pick a book, set a timer for 20 minutes, and let your child read aloud while you listen and offer praise. Little steps every day add up.

Hello Bobier Families,
Previously we sent home a consent package for your student to receive a Dental screening at an upcoming mobile clinic by Vista Community Clinic. The dental screenings will take place at Bobier on April 13 through April 17 during the hours of 8:30am-2:30pm. Everyone qualifies for the dental screening despite dental insurance status.
