Living Like the Saints
Don't forget to submit your challenge completion forms for the month of October! We provided two ideas to practice the virtue of docility: #1)Make a few moments of listening part of your prayer time this month. When you are finished, as you are comfortable, write or draw what you heard or felt in your heart. #2) Create a visual aid such as a pie chart or a series of chutes and ladders to show how you spent your time and reflect. Did you leave time to be taught? Is the investments you made of your time helping or hindering your journey toward God? Feel free to come up with your own challenge instead!
We Learn
PBIS
In September and October, our PBIS school-wide lesson will focus on personal space. Lessons will be taught to all students in grades kindergarten through 8th grade. Teachers and staff have noticed more students displaying physical touch in the hallways and on the playground, so these lessons will help students practice respecting each other’s personal space in different settings.
To reinforce this at home, parents can:
- Model appropriate personal space during family interactions.
- Use clear language to remind children about their “personal bubble.”
- Praise their child when they respect others’ personal space.
- Role-play different social situations where personal space matters (e.g., standing in line, greeting a friend, playing on the playground, sitting at the dinner table).

If you weren’t able to attend this year, we’d still love to hear from you! The first three questions take less than a minute to answer, and they will help us understand why — and how we might make next year’s festival more accessible or appealing for you.
