Carnaval d'hiver ⛄
As you are aware, due to the cold weather, we had to postpone our original Carnaval date. We are happy to share that Carnaval has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2026.
We have a wonderful day of activities planned! Please note the updated details and reminders below:
1. K-4 Field Trip to OLPH K-4 students will head to OLPH for a morning of outdoor activities with French Immersion students from OLPH and ABJ. They will return to ÉPK before lunch. Please remind your child to dress warmly (ski pants, toque, mittens, scarf, and warm boots).
2. Ice Sculptures We would love for each class to create an ice sculpture. Please have your child freeze a container with a removable lid (e.g., ice cream pail, margarine container, milk carton) full of coloured water for several days.
Drop-off: Please drop off ice blocks at EPK, (look for your child's class sign on the fence along the drop off lane) on Wednesday, Feb 11 (PM) or Thursday, Feb 12 (AM).
Transport: Unfortunately, ice blocks are not allowed on the bus.
Preparation: Please remove the ice block from the container BEFORE dropping it off in the designated spot.
3. School Sashes Please remember to send your child to school with their school sash (ceinture fléchée). It is very helpful if you label the sash with your child’s name before they arrive.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the new date, please let me know. We look forward to a great celebration on February 12th!
The Next Chapter Awaits
Open House at École OLPH - Grade 4 families
OLPH Parish
First Reconciliation will be celebrated this Saturday February 7 at OLPH Parish at 10:30 am.
Drumming to Beat 🪘
We welcomed Reckie Lloyd for a Drum Speak Workshop as part of our celebration of Black History Month. The children had a blast learning different drum rhythms and exploring elements of African culture through music and movement. It was a joyful and engaging experience for everyone!
