Academy Announcements
Dear Academy Families and Friends,
Happy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. I always find that this is a time to reflect on progress and moving forward, as a school community and family. So many of our classrooms discussed the works and legacy of Dr. King Jr. and how our culture and climate shapes our school to be great place for ALL students and their families to be a part of our fabric.
- Spirit Week was last week at Academy, Designed by the Academy Ambassadors, students and staff had a blast- It was great seeing our community celebrating how much we love Academy! Check out the pictures below.
- Friday was Mrs. MacKay's last day at Academy. We thank her for all her hard work and wish her the very best on her return to WECC full time.
- The School Store was a big hit with the students, last year we started through our 5th grade committees and it's only grown from there.
- New Books have arrived for our small reading groups with various lexiles for all readers!
Thank you again for all of your continued support! Have a wonderful long weekend!
