UPCOMING EVENTS AT SRE!
SRE Class Holiday Party Schedule & Campus Processes
Dear Santa Rita Families and Friends,
We invite you all to attend your child's Holiday Class Party on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Please come and join in the festivities with your child. Below are the SRE campus processes that will be enforced on the day of the event.
- You MUST have a valid state issued or photo ID on the day of the event
- LHISD policy is "No ID, No Entry".
- No backpacks/personal belongings sent to school on this day
- If possible, only send your child with a water bottle & personal lunch if they are not eating a lunch from the cafeteria.
- On the day of the event, you will only enter through the gym doors & exit the main doors of campus.
- Please notify your child's teacher by Monday, December 16th if you plan to sign your child out early.
- If you plan to sign your child out early, they will leave with you from the event if they have no personal belongings or other siblings that need to be checked out.
- Siblings will not be allowed to attend other siblings grade level class parties.
- If you plan to sign your child out early, but they have siblings or will have someone else checking them out that is not a family member listed in Skyward, you will have to go to the main office to follow our normal checkout process with our receptionist.
- Please make sure that all appropriate family members are listed in your Skyward account as family or emergency contacts as your child will NOT be released to the adult that is not present in your Skyward account.
- Once you sign out your child with their classroom teacher or with the front receptionist, they MUST leave campus and are not allowed to return for ANY reason. This includes, trying to attend other sibling parties.
- If your student is counted absent, they are not able to attend ANY campus events on that day.
- Parking will also be VERY limited. Please park along the streets or in the HUB parking lot and we highly encourage as many families to walk as possible.
- Please be patient with us as lines may be long due to parties overlapping.
Again, I also HIGHLY encourage all visitors to walk to campus if possible on the day of the event, or utilize the HUB parking lot. We are anticipating a very high volume of visitors and parking will be VERY limited.
We look forward to seeing you all!
Dear Santa Rita Families and Friends,
We invite you all to attend your child's classroom Holiday Party on Thursday, December 19th. Please remember all treats must be store bought items. If you plan to check your child out early, they then need to leave campus. Once students have been checked out, they may not attend other parties on campus. If you will be checking out multiple children from different grade levels, please wait until the last party to check them out.
To expedite our process of checking family and friends in for school events and class parties, Santa Rita will continue to use our Google RSVP “Fast Pass” system. Before any large school event or class party, an RSVP “Fast Pass” will be sent out for you to fill out via email and parent newsletter. Filling out the form allows us to have your visitor badge pre-printed in advance of the day, so we can have them ready for you. This allows you to enter quickly with just the showing of your ID.
If your ID has already been scanned into our system this school year, your badge will be pre-printed but you will still be required to show your ID for entry. If your ID has never been scanned into our system this school year, you may want to drop by before the party or event, to scan it and expedite your entry. You must have your ID on the event day regardless if your badge is pre-printed or not. LHISD policy is "NO ID, No Entry". However, the RSVP process will speed along your entry as well as the check out process for any students leaving early.
Classroom teachers will be sending more information home with details of class parties and needs.
THIS FORM NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED BY: Friday, December 13, 2024.
There is an ESL class for adults that is being offered to the families in our community. The class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-12:30pm at the Community Resource Center at 155 Hillcrest Lane, suite B in Liberty Hill. (Other times and locations are also available).
5th Grade science fair is coming up and we need NON-5th grade parents to volunteer.
It’s a really fun event for our volunteers and the kids love showing off their work!
