⭐ Principal's Message

Way’/Hello/Bonjour,

The science classrooms I got to visit this week have been busy learning about circuits and Biology. It’s always fun to witness students making their thinking and understanding visible through hands-on learning and visual representations such as drawings and models.

We were also busy this week honouring Red Dress Day and Mental Health Week. On top of this, students had a great day outside participating in Track and Field Day. It was quite the year for breaking some of our long-standing records and it is always fun to see our KLO community coming together in such a fun and positive way. Thank you to all of the students, staff and volunteers for their contributions all of this week’s events.

Congratulations to our KLO Archery team who received 2nd place in Provincials last weekend. Way to go, KLO!

Nathen Elliott

KLO Principal

🍎 Attendance Matters 🍎 Attendance Matters

Coming to school regularly matters far more than many realize!

When students attend regularly:

  • They gain consistent access to instruction and hands-on learning

  • They get immediate feedback from teachers as they learn

  • They build friendships and develop social skills

  • They feel connected to their school community

These experiences are essential for both academic success and emotional wellbeing. If challenges arise, please reach out. We're here to help!
