Special Summer Edition - July 2023

A Note from the Principal:

Pardon this brief summer interruption. I typically would send something closer to the start of school, but there are things on the horizon that I feel require a summer check-in. I pray everyone is doing well. In this special summer edition, you will see a few reminders to ease the transition into the 2023-2024 school year.

Skyward will be down beginning the evening of Thursday, July 13 to Saturday, July 15 in the morning. Families should be able to log back in and enroll their scholars by Saturday afternoon. Thank you. -Skyward Family Access
If you have not re-enrolled your scholar in Skyward for the 2023-2024 school year, please do so quickly. It is not too early and it is not too late.
All backpacks for the 23-24 school year must be clear or made of mesh material.
We are hosting a transition camp for rising 6th grade scholars Thursday, July 27th from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. There will also be a vendor on site selling spirit gear.
If you want your scholar to ride the school bus to and or from school, you must complete the transportation registration process. That is funneled through the transportation department. More information can be found here. All questions pertaining to school year 2023-2024 routes should be forwarded to Transportation Routing at 972-293-5599 ext. 104.
The CHISD Back to School Rally is August 5th - 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Our open house and schedule pick-up for those cleared is Thursday, August 10th, 5:00 - 6:30 PM.
