AVID In Action At Thomas Jefferson!
Students participated in a lesson on character traits where we determined that some character traits are external (physical traits) and some are internal (personality traits). Students then identified their own character traits and determined the traits are needed to be an AVID scholar. Students drew a picture of themself and listed their traits around their illustration. Then, they drew an image to go with each character trait. Next, we will be diving into literary stories and examining characters through their words, emotions, thoughts, and actions.
